The process of Qur’anic interpretation carried out by mufassir could not be separated from historical context. Every space and time as an integrated element of history, produces typical interpretation’s discourse, pattern, movement and reformation, where every single emphasis criticizes the previous interpretations while at the same time constructs a new theory of interpretation. Likewise, the existence of The Book of Al-Qur’an and its Interpretation are proposed and published by Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia Republic, certainly in interpreting activities to its verses of Qur’an gave rise locality elements and endeavored an effortless to be arriving at the goal of word meaning being interpreted.
Proses penafsiran Alquran yang dilakukan oleh mufassir tidak lepas dari konteks sejarah yang melekat dalam dirinya. Setiap ruang dan waktu sebagai elemen sejarah yang terintegrasi, menghasilkan wacana, pola, gerakan, dan reformasi interpretasi yang khas, di mana setiap penekanan mengkritisi interpretasi sebelumnya sekaligus membangun interpretasi baru. Demikian pula dengan keberadaan Kitab Al-Qur'an dan Tafsirnya yang dibuat dan diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia, tentunya dalam kegiatan penafsiran terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'annya memunculkan unsur lokalitas dan diupayakan dengan cara yang mudah. sampai pada tujuan makna kata yang ditafsirkan. Melalui pendekatan hermeneutika dan resepsi, artikel ini mengupas bentuk lokalitas yang terdapat dalam kitab Al-Qur’an dan Tafsirnya.
