METODE MENDIDIK AKHLAK ANAK DALAM PERSPEKTIF IMAM AL-GHAZALI

Abstrak: Tulisan ini menyajikan tentang pentingnya pendidikan akhlak anak. Pendidikan akhlak merupakan suatu usaha sadar yang dilakukan untuk menanamkan perilaku baik kepada setiap anak. sebagaimana ciri khas dari pendidikan Islam yang dikemukan oleh Imam Al-Ghazali yang lebih maenekankan pentingnya menanamkan nilai moralitas yang dibangun dari basic pendidikan akhlak Islami. Mengingat pentingnya akhlak ditanamkan kepada anak sejak dini oleh sebab itu pada penelitian ini yang menjadi rumusan masalah yaitu: bagaimana konsep pendidikan akhlak untuk anak menurut Imam Al-Ghazali, bagaimana kecenderungan pemikiran imam Al-Ghazali, dan bagaimana metode mendidik akhlak anak dalam perspektif Imam Al-Ghazali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library reseach). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan historis pedagogis, adapun sumber data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik cotent analysis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali tentang pendidikan lebih cenderung pada pendidikan moral dengan pembinaan budi pekerti dan penanaman sifat-sifat keutamaan pada anak didik, metode yang dapat digunakan dalam mendidik anak dengan cara langsung dan tidak langsung seperti menerapkan pembiasaan dalam peribadatan, dan menceritakan kisah-kisah akhlak mulia.

Abstract: This paper presents the importance of children's moral education. Moral education is a conscious effort made to instill good behavior in every child. as a characteristic of Islamic education that was raised by Imam Al-Ghazali who emphasized the importance of instilling morality values which were built from basic Islamic moral education. Given the importance of morals instilled in children from an early age, therefore in this study the problem formulation is: how is the concept of moral education for children according to Imam Al-Ghazali, how is the tendency of Imam Al-Ghazali's thinking, and how is the method of educating children in the perspective of Imam Al -Ghazali. This research is a library research (library research). The approach used in this research is a pedagogical historical approach, while the source of data consists of primary and secondary data, and data analysis is performed by cotent analysis techniques. The results of the study state that Imam Al-Ghazali's thoughts about education are more likely to be moral education by fostering character and instilling virtue traits in students, methods that can be used in educating children in direct and indirect ways such as applying habituation in worship, and tell stories of noble morals.
