PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS KOMIK SAINS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS SISWA PADA KONSEP SISTEM EKSKRESI MANUSIA DI SMA NEGERI I GEGESIK

Visual biology learning media are many kinds. One of the visual media used in this research in the form of comic science, this background by the interest of students in reading in SMA Negeri 1 Gegesik Cirebon regency, it needs to be prepared science comic learning media that are appropriate and relevant to the material being taught. This study aims to examine (1) students' activities on the application of science comics, (2) differences in creativity of students based on science comic media with non-science comic media, (3) student responses to science-based comic media. The metedology used is quantitative. The population is 35 students of class XI IPA 3 as experimental class and 35 students of XI IPA 4 as control class. The research design used in the form of Pretest and Postest with data collection technique using test, observation, and questionnaire. Data analysis using statistical test using SPSS v.21 software include normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test (Mann-Whitney U Test). The results of the study showed that (1) the students' learning activity in the experiment class was better in the second meeting than the first meeting (2) there was a significant difference between the students who applied the science-based comic media and the students who did not apply the science comic media (3) Comic-based science is included in the strong criterion. The conclusions of this research are (1) the students 'learning activity in the experimental class is much better at the second meeting (2) there is a significant difference of students' creativity improvement between the experimental class and the control class (3) the students give positive responses to the comic-based media science means science comic Can increase students' interest to read.References
