Bencana merupakan serangkaian peristiwa yang mengakibatkan timbulnya korban jiwa, kerusakan alam, fasilitas, kerugian, serta dampak psikologis korban, bencana dapat disebabkan oleh faktor alam ataupun faktor non alam (manusia). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah SMK Sanjaya Pakem yang masuk dalam radius sekolah siaga bencana erupsi Merapi. Pendekatan penelitian ini dengan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan Teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di sekolah SMK Sanjaya Pakem ini, belum adanya program dari bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah berbasis kebencanaan, dikarenakan beberapa factor salah satunya SDM guru BK belum tetap dan baru masuk bekerja, situasi pandemic, sehingga peran bimbingan dan konseling yang dilakukan di sekolah masih dalam memberikan layanan selama pandemic untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar.Peran Bimbingan dan Konseling; Penanggulangan Kebencanaan; Program Layanan BK; Erupsi Merapi.
