CB SECONT (Cognitive Behaviour Self Control Training): Upaya Peningkatan Social Connectedness Pada Mahasiswa Pelaku Phubbing Pasca Pandemi Covid 19

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas CB SECONT (Cognitive Behaviour Self Control Training) dalam mengurangi phubbing dan meningkatkan social connectedness pada mahasiswa pelaku phubbing pasca pandemi. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. CB SECONT hanya diberikan kepada siswa pelaku phubbing yang memiliki social connectedness yang rendah. Partisipan diminta untuk mengisi skala social connectedness revised milik (Lee et al., 2001) dan skala phubbing milik (Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas, 2018) baik sebelum maupun setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan signifikansi p=0,001 (p<0,05) untuk perbandingan g score pra dan post-test kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol pada dimensi social connectedness, artinya terdapat perbedaan social connectedness sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa CB SECONT mampu mengurangi phubbing mahasiswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil statistik uji beda Mann Whitney, signifikansi p<0,05 adalah 0,000.
