Penerapan Konseling Kognitif Islami untuk Meningkatkan Regulasi Diri Narapidana di Lapas Kelas IIA Purwokerto

Dasar pemikiran penyelenggaraan konseling kognitif Islami adalah untuk membantu narapidana mempersiapkan kehidupannya setelah bebas. Sehingga warga binaan begitu bebas bisa kembali menjalani kehidupannya dengan baik dan tidak mengulangi perbuatannya lagi. Regulasi diri memegang peranan penting dalam diri narapidana karena dengan memiliki regulasi diri yang bagus seorang narapidana akan lebih siap dalam menghadapi kehidupannya setelah bebas dari tahanan. Regulasi diri merupakan kemampuan dimana individu aktif dengan sengaja mengontrol proses kognitif, motivasi (keyakinan-keyakinan, nilai-nilai dan kondisi emosi) dan perilaku untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu yang telah diterapkan. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin baik regulasi diri, maka akan semakin baik hasil prestasi yang dapat dicapai. Sebaliknya, jika seseorang memiliki regulasi diri yang rendah, maka kurang dapat melakukan perencanaan, pemantauan, evaluasi pembelajaran dengan baik, kurang mampu melakukan pengelolaan potensi dan sumber daya yang baik dan sebagainya, sehingga hasil dari belajarnya tidak optimal, sesuai dengan potensi diri yang dimilikinya. Untuk meningkatkan regulasi diri narapidana, dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan konseling kognitif islami. Dengan pendekatan tersebut akan didapatkan perubahan dalam diri narapidana yang meliputi meliputi cara paradigma berpikir, cara menggunakan potensi nurani, cara beriman, berkeyakinan dan bertingkah laku berdasarkan al-Qur’an dan al-Hadits.References
