Optimalisasi Layanan Bimbingan Karir dalam Meningkatkan Keterserapan Lulusan di SMAN 1 Gegesik

Peserta didik SMA secara kurikulum dan tujuan pembelajaran dipersiapkan untuk memasuki jenjang pendidikan tinggi. SMAN 1 Gegesik sebagai salah satu SMA juga dituntut untuk mengarahkan lulusannya untuk masuk ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Namun demikian, jika melihat kondisi yang ada keterserapan lulusan SMAN 1 Gegesik ke perguruan tinggi khususnya perguruan tinggi Negeri (PTN) melalui jalur seleksi nasional masuk perguruan tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) masih minim. Merujuk pada keterserapan lulusan di tahun 2019 sebanyak 6 orang dari jumlah 342 peserta didik. Salah satu bentuk layanan bimbingan konseling yang secara langsung dapat menjawab permasalahan tersebut adalah melalui layanan bimbingan karir. Layanan bimbingan karir yang dikembangkan diimplementasikan dalam bentuk kegiatan berupa plotting pemilihan jurusan, sharing & motivation sesion, study kampus, parenting class, wawancara dan konseling karir, dan try out persiapan seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi Negeri. Secara umum, layanan bimbingan karir yang dilaksanakan berdampak positif terhadap daya serap lulusan SMAN 1 Gegesik tahun 2020 di perguruan tinggi khususnya perguruan tinggi Negeri melalui jalur SNMPTN. Terlihat dari jumlah peserta didik yang diterima di jalur PTN sebanyak 20 orang dari 320 peserta didik.
