The June 2026 issue (Vol. 14 No. 1), published online on 30 July 2026, features ten research articles written by 27 authors from 12 higher education institutions in Indonesia, Pakistan, and Thailand. The studies in this issue address Qur’anic interpretations of religious moderation in Friday sermons; Muslim–non-Muslim relations through tafsīr maqāṣidī; religious harmony in Q.S. al-Kāfirūn [109] through oral exegesis; Asma Afsaruddin’s contextual reading of jihad and leadership; the concept of ḥifẓ al-dawlah within maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah; the politicization of the Ghazwah al-Hind hadith in Pakistan; KH. Misbah Mustofa’s critique of Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ); the hierarchy of wāḍiḥ al-dalālah in uṣūl al-fiqh and its application to legal verses; debates on revelation and contextual Qur’anic interpretation between Fahruddin Faiz and Adian Husaini; and a Qur’anic framework for human-centered artificial intelligence based on Q.S. al-‘Alaq [96]: 1–5.

Diya al-Afkar: Jurnal Studi al-Quran dan al-Hadis is a scientific journal focusing on Qur'anic and Hadith studies. The journal publishes articles on interpretation, living Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as library and field research related to Qur'an and Hadith, including book reviews. It is published twice a year (June and December).

The journal is published by Ilmu al-Qur'an dan Tafsir Department, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, in partnership with Asosiasi Ilmu al-Qur'an dan Tafsir (AIAT) (Download MoU) and Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis Indonesia (ASILHA) (Download MoU).

Diya al-Afkar: Jurnal Studi al-Quran dan al-Hadis has been accredited SINTA 3 on February 3rd 2026 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia through SK Dirjen No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026 and effective until 2029.
