PROFIL KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI DALAM MEMBUAT PETA KONSEP PADA MATA KULIAH KAPITA SELEKTA BIOLOGI SMA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru biologi di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon dalam membuat peta konsep materi  biologi SMA.  Penelitian ini merupakan “Quasi eksperimental design†dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa semester VI kelas Bio-C dan Bio-D IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon yang mengambil mata kuliah Kapita Selekta Biologi SMA 2, dengan jumlah mahasiswa kelas Bio-C sebanyak 30 mahasiswa dan kelas Bio-D sebanyak 29 orang dengan delapan item peta konsep yang diujikan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru biologi IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon sudah mampu membuat peta konsep dengan cukup baik. Konsep sistem respirasi merupakan konsep dengan rata-rata nilai terendah, sedangkan konsep sistem koordinasi merupakan konsep dengan rata-rata nilai tertinggi.
