Abstract
ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai kesetaraan gender dalam pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Babakan, Ciwaringin, Cirebon, serta menganalisis pandangan santri dan pengurus terhadap kesetaraan gender dalam kegiatan pendidikan dan kehidupan sehari-hari di pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas santri putra, santri putri, serta pengurus pesantren putra dan putri yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy telah menerapkan nilai-nilai kesetaraan gender secara baik dan proporsional dalam sistem pendidikan maupun kegiatan nonformal. Baik santri putra maupun putri memperoleh kesempatan yang sama dalam pembelajaran, kepemimpinan, serta partisipasi kegiatan pesantren. Pengasuhan oleh Nyai Masriyah Amva dan Nyai Awanilah Amva berperan penting dalam membentuk budaya pesantren yang adil gender dan inklusif. Meskipun masih terdapat perbedaan pandangan di kalangan sebagian pengurus, hal tersebut tidak menghambat proses internalisasi nilai kesetaraan di lingkungan pesantren.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to describe the implementation of gender equality values in education at the Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Islamic Boarding School in Babakan, Ciwaringin, Cirebon, and to analyze the views of students and administrators on gender equality in educational activities and daily life at the pesantren. This study uses a qualitative method. The research subjects consisted of male and female students, as well as male and female administrators of the pesantren, determined through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations, and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results show that the Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Islamic Boarding School has implemented gender equality values well and proportionally in both formal and non-formal education. Both male and female students have equal opportunities in learning, leadership, and participation in pesantren activities. The guidance by Nyai Masriyah Amva and Nyai Awanilah Amva plays an important role in shaping a gender-just and inclusive culture at the pesantren. Although there are still differing views among some administrators, this does not hinder the process of internalizing equality values within the pesantren environment.
