Peer Review Process
ELT ECHO follows a double anonymous peer review policy. Each manuscript is evaluated by two expert reviewers in the relevant field to assess the quality, originality, validity, and academic contribution of the research.
Review and Publication Process

Manuscript Acknowledgement
The submitted manuscript is acknowledged within 12–24 hours upon receipt.

Double Anonymous Review
The manuscript, without author names and affiliations, is sent to two expert reviewers. The review process takes a maximum of two weeks.

Review Reports
Review reports are collected and communicated to the authors together with the applicable publication requirements and conditions.

Revision and Second Review
If revisions are required, authors are given seven days to revise the manuscript according to the reviewers' recommendations. The revised manuscript may be returned to the same reviewers for further evaluation. Manuscripts that do not adequately address the reviewers' recommendations may be rejected.

Publication Processing
Accepted manuscripts are processed for publication after successfully fulfilling the journal's terms and conditions.

Proofreading
The processed manuscript is sent to a proofreader to check language, spelling, grammar, and typographical accuracy.

Copy Editing
The proofread manuscript undergoes copy editing, after which the author may conduct a final check before publication.

Online Publication
The final paper is published online. The editor notifies the corresponding author of its publication. Requests for corrections of significant errors may be submitted within one week after online publication.
Editorial Decision
Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are made by the editors based on reviewers' comments and recommendations. When necessary, a manuscript may be sent to an additional reviewer for a second round of evaluation.
Publication Timeline
The overall publication process normally takes approximately 8–24 weeks from submission to publication, with an average processing time of 12–16 weeks.
