Article Processing Charges (APC)

EL-IBTIKAR: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is an open-access journal committed to the rapid dissemination of high-quality research in the field of Arabic Language Education. To support editorial operations and ensure a rigorous peer-review process, the following fee structure applies:

1. Standard Publication Fee

For manuscripts submitted through the regular track, a publication fee of IDR 500,000 is charged. This fee covers management of the peer-review process, copyediting, layouting, and digital archiving.

2. Fast-Track Service

EL-IBTIKAR offers a fast-track service for authors who require an accelerated review and publication timeline without compromising the quality of the manuscript.

  • Total Fee: IDR 1,000,000.

  • Fee Breakdown: This total includes a Publication Fee (APC) of IDR 500,000 and a Fast-Track Service Fee of IDR 500,000.

  • Mandatory Advance Payment: For the Fast-Track option, full payment of IDR 1,000,000 must be made in advance after the manuscript passes the initial screening. This payment serves as an absolute commitment that the author will cooperatively follow all revision stages requested by reviewers and editors.

  • Accelerated Timeline: The review process is completed within 3 to 10 working days , and authors must return their revisions within 3 to 5 working days.

3. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Policy

Please be advised that for the Fast-Track service, the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is NOT issued upon initial payment. The LoA will only be issued after the author has completed the first round of revisions and the manuscript is declared accepted in principle by the Editor.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

In the event that an author fails to complete the revision stage, fails to respond to editorial feedback within the deadline, or withdraws from the process:

  • The article will be declared rejected/withdrawn.

  • A 20% refund of the total fee (IDR 200,000) will be issued.

  • The remaining 80% (IDR 800,000) is non-refundable and retained by the journal to cover administrative and reviewer service costs.

  • If a manuscript is rejected purely on substantive grounds by reviewers (not due to author non-compliance), the refund policy follows the journal management's internal guidelines.
