The journal publishes original research articles, case studies, and literature reviews related to guidance and counseling studies, particularly within the field of Islamic Guidance and Counseling. Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal is published by the Department of Islamic Guidance and Counseling (BKI), Faculty of Da'wah and Islamic Communication, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, in collaboration with Asosiasi Profesi Dakwah Indonesia (APDI) and Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah (PPJID) . The journal is published regularly twice a year, in June and December.

Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal has been accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia through Director Decree (Decree No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026), and has officially received accreditation certification.
