OUR TEAM
EDITORIAL POLICIES
All manuscripts submitted to Research and Practice of Educational Chemistry (RESPEC) must comply with the journal’s focus and scope as well as the author guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the fields of chemistry education and chemistry. Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism, and authors are encouraged to conduct similarity checks before submission. The editorial team screens submitted manuscripts for plagiarism using Turnitin or other similarity detection tools.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be reviewed by at least two expert reviewers. The review process is conducted to evaluate the quality, originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, and contribution of the manuscript. Reviewers provide constructive scientific comments and recommendations to help improve the quality of the manuscript.
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection is made by the editors based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. The publication of accepted manuscripts, including the order of articles in each issue, is determined by the Editor-in-Chief by considering the date of acceptance, thematic relevance, and diversity of authors’ affiliations or geographical distribution.
