ANALISIS FAKTOR TERHADAP PEMILIHAN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL DI SMAIT NUURUSSHIDDIIQ CIREBON

Beragamnya jenis pendidikan yang ditawarkan, mengharuskan orang tua dan siswa, untuk pandai dalam memilih sekolah. Terlepas dari bagaimana manajemen lembaga pendidikan dalam mengelola sekolah, faktor apa yang mempengaruhi siswa SMA terhadap pemilihan Islamic boarding school adalah masalah yang akan dikaji. Dalam hal pemilihan Islamic boarding school, siswa akan mempertimbangkan faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal adalah faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa, terdiri dari pendidikan dan penghasilan orang tua siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternal adalah faktor yang berasal dari luar diri siswa yang tidak lain adalah karakter yang dimiliki islamic boarding school. Pada siswa SMAIT Nuurusshiddiiq Cirebon, terdapat tujuh kelompok besar faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam memilih sekolah tersebut. Ketujuh kelompok faktor tersebut adalah faktor internal yaitu orang tua siswa; serta faktor eksternal yaitu daya tarik sekolah, kepribadian SDM, mutu lulusan, waktu belajar, biaya sekolah, dan afiliasi politik sekolah.
