 focus and scope of the Journal are research studies on Islamic law and legal science with the theme of Islamic Law: Islamic Criminal and Civil Law, Islamic Family Law, and the Application of Islamic Law in Indonesia. Themes in legal science are Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Economic Law, Medical Law, Customary Law, Environmental Law, and other related contemporary legal issues.
