Peer Review Policy
INKLUSIF uses double-blind peer review, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another during review. Authors must prepare an anonymised manuscript and remove identifying information from files submitted for peer review.
Initial Screening
The editor examines the manuscript's relevance to the journal's scope, completeness, originality, methodology, scholarly contribution, compliance with the Author Guidelines, and research ethics.
Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be returned for revision or rejected before peer review. All manuscripts to be published as research articles must undergo peer review.
Selection of Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assessed by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers are selected on the basis of their competence and the absence of conflicts of interest.
Assessment Criteria
Reviews must be objective, explain the reasons for the assessment, and provide feedback that authors can use to improve their manuscripts.
Editorial Decisions
Accept
Minor Revisions
Major Revisions
Reject
Authors asked to revise must submit a revised manuscript and a response to the reviewers' comments. The editor makes the final decision, taking scholarly quality and the review findings into account.
Confidentiality and Appeals
Manuscripts and review documents are treated as confidential. Editors and reviewers must not use unpublished material for personal benefit. Authors do not participate in selecting reviewers or deciding on their own manuscripts.
Authors may appeal through the journal's official contact, providing scholarly reasons and a specific explanation. Appeals are examined by an editor without a conflict of interest.
Review times depend on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and completion of revisions. The journal does not guarantee acceptance or publication before the editorial process has been completed.
