About the Journal

INKLUSIF: Jurnal Pengkajian Penelitian Syariah dan Ilmu Hukum — Print ISSN 2303-2669 and Online ISSN 2548-9631 — is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually, in June and December, by the Department of Islamic Family Law, Postgraduate Program, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia. First published in print in 2012 and available online since 2016, INKLUSIF publishes original research articles and scholarly studies in the fields of Sharia, Islamic legal thought, Islamic family law, and contemporary legal studies. The journal welcomes manuscripts using normative, doctrinal, socio-legal, empirical, comparative, and interdisciplinary legal research approaches.

The focus and scope of INKLUSIF include Islamic law, Islamic family law, Islamic criminal and civil law, Islamic legal theory, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, legal pluralism, religious courts, and the application of Islamic law in Indonesia and global Muslim societies. In the broader field of legal science, the journal also covers criminal law, civil law, constitutional law, administrative law, international law, economic law, medical law, customary law, environmental law, human rights, public policy, and other contemporary legal issues. Through this scope, INKLUSIF aims to strengthen academic dialogue between classical Islamic legal traditions and modern legal developments.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and a double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope. Authors are required to follow the journal template, use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero, and comply with the author guidelines and publication ethics standards. INKLUSIF is committed to improving editorial quality, international visibility, author diversity, citation impact, and publication consistency in order to meet national and international journal indexing standards, including Scopus.

Based on Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025, INKLUSIF has been accredited SINTA 4.
