Post Publication Discussion

INKLUSIF welcomes scholarly criticism, questions, and responses concerning published articles. Post-publication discussion aims to clarify findings, examine arguments, and improve the accuracy of the scholarly record.

How to Submit a Response

Responses should be submitted through the journal's official contact on the Contact page and include:

  • The sender's identity
  • The article title or DOI
  • A clear explanation of the issue
  • Supporting sources or evidence

Standards for Responses

Responses must be:

  • Relevant to the article's scholarly content
  • Respectful in tone
  • Focused on the substance of the article

Not considered:

  • Personal attacks on the authors
  • Unsupported allegations
  • Material unrelated to the article

Editorial Handling

The editor assesses each response and may seek expert advice where necessary. The article's authors are given an opportunity to address the criticism or questions raised.

Responses and replies that make a scholarly contribution may be published as correspondence or notices linked to the relevant article. The editor decides whether they will be published. Reasonable scholarly disagreement does not, by itself, justify correcting or retracting an article.

If a response indicates a possible error or violation, the matter is handled under the Allegations of Research Misconduct policy or the Corrections and Retractions policy.
