Jurnal Studi Hadis Nusantara

Jurnal Studi Hadis Nusantara (JSHN) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of Hadith Studies, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Universitas Islam Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia.

1. Publication Frequency

Jurnal Studi Hadis Nusantara is published twice a year (biannually), with two regular issues released annually in:

  • June

  • December

The journal maintains a regular publication schedule to ensure the consistent and timely dissemination of scholarly research in Hadith Studies and related fields.

2. Manuscript Submission

JSHN accepts manuscript submissions throughout the year through its official Online Journal System (OJS).

Authors may submit manuscripts at any time, subject to the journal's submission guidelines, focus and scope, author guidelines, and applicable editorial policies.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee publication. Each manuscript is subject to the journal's established editorial and peer-review procedures.

3. Editorial and Peer-Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal's focus and scope, academic quality, originality, and compliance with submission requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are subsequently processed through the journal's peer-review procedure. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on editorial and reviewer recommendations.

Final publication decisions are made by the editorial team based on the results of the editorial assessment, peer review, revisions, and the overall scholarly quality of the manuscript.

4. Issue Assignment and Publication

Manuscripts that have successfully completed the required editorial and peer-review processes may be assigned to the appropriate regular issue according to the journal's publication schedule and editorial planning.

The journal's regular issues are published in June and December. The assignment of an accepted manuscript to a particular issue is determined by the editorial team based on editorial readiness, publication planning, and the journal's available publication capacity.

The publication of an article is completed only after the manuscript has successfully passed the required editorial, revision, copyediting, proofreading, and production stages, where applicable.

5. Publication Date and Bibliographic Information

Each published article is provided with appropriate bibliographic information, including its:

  • Volume and issue;

  • Article publication date;

  • Article identification information;

  • Page or article-number information, where applicable; and

  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI), where applicable.

The publication date displayed on an article represents the date on which the article is officially published online through the journal's OJS platform.

6. Publication Transparency

JSHN is committed to maintaining a consistent, transparent, and accountable publication schedule.

The biannual publication schedule does not compromise the journal's standards of academic quality, peer review, editorial independence, publication ethics, or integrity of the scholarly record.

Any changes to the regular publication schedule will be communicated through the journal's official OJS platform and relevant editorial announcements.
